    All psychiatrists …
All psychiatrists do is throw medication at you.

    Okay. That’s good …
Okay. That’s good advice. I’m going to take more time to think about it.

    Im not sure about …
Im not sure about medication but is it something that should be stopped cold turkey or maybe slowly taking less. Just wanted to bring that up. Thats happened to me too when exercising. Very annoying when it happens. Ive never taken meds but Im sure people need them at some point, some may for the rest of their lives or just for a little while but I think that if you recognize you dont need them then thats great and you should pursue that.

    I always enjoy your …
I always enjoy your videos Rich. You’re well spoken and easy to relate to. I’ve come off of meds MANY times. Seriously. What I learned is that if you havent’ learned much, you’ll just go back to where you were. I say this as I’m contemplating coming off again. But this tme I am on a very low dose. But even that, I don’t want to take a step back. But I understand. Especially if it makes you tired and unmotivated; it’s shit. My current med doesn’t do that.

    hey no one should …
hey no one should rlly influence ur choice of staying on/going off meds because at the end of the day its ur body, no one elses and ur the only person who knows whats best for it. Good luck, i love ur vids and im sure u will get through ur SA because you have so much determination

    I stopped taking …
I stopped taking medication 6 months ago for depression. Every time I feel sad I think about the paralyzed, african, and sex slaves living in the world and I feel better.

Hi Rich, if I hear …
Hi Rich, if I hear you right about the drugs, its more about trying to make it on your own and your dislike of some of the nasty side effects(apathy being one of them). I’d suggest talking to your doc, because if you come off them too fast, you can get pretty sick. It is a personal choice, I hope this is the right time for you, I have trouble with drugs myself, although they are helpful for some.

    May sound a bit …
May sound a bit silly, but ‘there’s a time for meds’ and ‘there’s a time for meds’. If this is not your time, then at least try a period off them
Is it the right thing to do, that’s another matter. Only time will tell.
After all, there is the physiological effect of a medication, and equally important, the psychological effect. If you don’t have that belief in the medication, then it’s not a good medication, and things need to be reconsidered.

    hey, you could ask …
hey, you could ask lena and bobfromseattle office about getting off meds, it might just be good to get some questions answered… and youll know what to expect-

is it difficult to get back on them once you stop? im just curious what the effects are–

and around the time that you start school will be the time i start working… so you know… we could always support one another— i’m kind of worried about it you know?

first of all i think its really cool that ur starting school again -
