What are the symptoms of Anxiety Attacks?
Posted on Nov 14, 2008 under symptoms of anxiety |I dont go into heavy breaking or freakout on the out side. Its something that takes place inside my mind. Does that make sense? Everything is all paranoid, even the sound of a car driving down the road outside, and I dont want to move, its hard for me to move around. The only thing that calms me is laying down in my bed and taking a nap. I dont even know if there is a pill i can take that will help this? Could this also be a after affect of another drug i am taking?? Actually i feel like a zombie when i am in this state. I had this incidence while driving in a car last week, and now i afraid to go visit my mom who lives a couple of hours away!
Yeah that is anxiety. I suffered from it for six years. The particular thing you are feeling, where you feel paranoid and like a zombie is called a dissociative episode. Don’t fret about it too much, that only makes it worse. You can overcome these episodes completely, I did. Write me any time if you need advice on this.

Over expectation and loss of confidence when the expected thing had not happened.

It depends on what is causing the panic attack as to what the symptoms are. Most people breath hard, their heart races, they feel like they will pass out, dizziness, even a feeling like everything is closing in.
There are many, many medications that can help panic. The most important thing is that you seek professional help to find out if it is indeed panic or some other emotional or health issue and get treated. Panic can be brought on by the strangest things, even allergies. Panic works that way too, if not confronted it can take over your life before you know it. Seek help. Good luck.

Panic/Anxiety attacks is, yes, freaking out on the inside–in your mind. The fight/flight response when there is no danger. One’s body can act as though a bear is rearing up right in front of you, though nothing is there. Your heart races, you can hyperventilate. Scary stuff! You feel like you’re going to go crazy. I’ve had my limbs actually go numb–but that was one of the very worst attacks. Also, sometimes you feel as though you’re going to pass out.
There are anti-anxiety medications such as Xanax.
This could be a side-effect to meds you’re taking.
Call your doc in the morning.
In the meantime…know that you ARE going to be okay. Try to relax and breathe. Distract yourself.
Hope this helps!

Don’t worry….calm down…and just breathe
yes..that sounds like Panic and Anxiety attacks
no matter what DO NOT take drugs from a doctor..as they don’t PREVENT but only treat.
DO NOT drink or eat ANYTHING with CAFFIENE (and/or any other stimulants)
Stay away from unhealthy food and alcohol as they ALSO cause anxiety attacks.
There is SOOOOO much information and help…research and read!
You will be ok
It will take some time but you will be ok
you will NOT die
It feels VERY intense when it happens..but your body is just releasing chemicals to prepare for danger…even though there is not danger your body thinks otherwise…heart rate increases, sweating etc…..just close your eyes and take a DEEP BREATH IN..hold…then let go..over and over again..BREATHE BREATHE BREATHE
you WILL be ok.
you CAN Over come this.
RESEARCH and LEARN as much as you can about this challenge.

Please enlighten everyone who wants to help you,
What drug or drugs are you currently taking, and are they prescribed by a doctor. Are you following the recommended dosage?
If you don’t feel comfortable answering these questions thats OK.
Visiting your Mother, Plan your trip ahead of time, and try to be relaxed. You may find it helpful to take it in 30 minute or so segments and then take a break. All you have to do is make 30 minutes at a time. Call a friend or family member along the way if this will help calm you.
Good Luck, and maybe speak to your Mom about this.

You are having panic attacks. Panic attacks thrive on fear and attention. If you ignore them the best you can, don’t be afraid of them and just tell yourself “It’s no big deal; its just anxiety”, you will probably get considerable relief.
Panic attacks could be caused by medication side effects–or any illegal drug you may be taking; talk to your pharmacist as well as your doctor.
There are plenty of medications that will relieve anxiety. I would only use them as a last resort.
I think the best solutions for anxiety are found in the bible. You can check out this website: http://www.mentalhealthsolutions.info/
