Anxiety Attack?
Posted on Nov 03, 2008 under anxiety attack symptoms |I have been having what I believe to be anxiety attacks, I seem to have all the symptoms, only without the hyperventilating. I do however feel like Im not getting enough air into my lungs. My question is, am I having anxiety attacks, or could it be something else all together. They seem to last about 15 minutes to a half hour.
All of my symptoms include sudden intense body rushes(feels like a cross between an adreniline rush and fear), hot flashes, heart palpitations, tingling in arms and hands, feeling of impending doom, and sometimes a metallic taste in the back of my toungue, trouble swallowing and a feeling like I gotta move around. It's not a great list of things to be experiencing at the same time.
I can tell when ones about to come on now because I get a pain in the middle of my back, and then wham it hits. Is anybody else out there having these symptoms?

Because these symptoms only last for a short period of time, this deff seems like you are having anxiety attacks. If it would make you feel better, then go to the drs and have a check-up. Although this seems just like an anxiety attack…try to drink warm tea when you feel an anxiety attack coming on and it might not be such a bad thing to go and talk to a counselor or someone. Good luck, but remember your not alone!

Does it feel like your head is spinning? Do you feel confused, disoriented? These things happen to me. Anxiety attacks hit people in different ways I think.
